he says he is confused

He told he loves me ... after several months i understood that i also love him.. i told that & i asked him i am only interested in long relations, he agreed with me.... v had several differences regarding caste, religion etc but he was ready to face all... v both had a matured relation... our working times where different so couldn't talk much but v stay in touch through messages... he went 4 a retreat & rite now he says he s confused about the relation .. he s not sure whether it will work out between us.. i don't know what to do? i am trying to be strong.. I didn't ask him much...but it hurts a lot... He doesn't know what to do & is asking me what should he do? I told you can decide whatever you want i am happy with anything.. but its difficult to hide my emotions..I dont know what should i do.. can any1 suggest something? I feel like i should wait 4 him.. may b he will come back.. what if he doesn't come back that also haunts me..
